Collecting for the Air Ambulance

This year we decided to take part in the Ten Pence Challenge, to raise money for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance crew. They are hoping to raise enough money to buy new flight suits for their very hard working paramedics. This is something we felt would benefit our children and their family as well as giving them an understanding of helping local causes. For the challenge we made our very own Air Ambulance, that they children had a great time painting and putting together. We then stuck the 10p coins we had collected so far onto the sides of the helicopter, once we had done that and talked about why we were collecting the money, the children had lots of fun playing with the Air Ambulance.
