The Moorings Christmas Visit! ❤

This year we have missed having our little meet ups with The Moorings care home. We wanted to do something really special and Christmassy for them. We asked you as parents, grandparents and carers to donate some useful and essential items for us to make some Christmas hampers. The response from you was truly incredible, we were inundated with so many lovely items and presents. In the end we had enough to make up five huge Christmas hampers, all full to the brim with festive goodies. Thursday 10th December was hamper handover day. Unfortunately due to restrictions we weren’t able to bring all of the children. As much as we really wanted too. We were however able to bring eight children with us on the day. The children walked really well and were super sensible on the journey there and back. It was lovely to see their Christmas decorations and an amazing Nativity scene. We were able to stand outside of the conservatory and wave to the residents as well as the staff. We also sang them a selection of our favourite songs from our Nativity. It was a great experience although it wasn’t our normal and we our truly thankful we could do something amazing for our friends. This year has been particularly difficult and challenging for all so we would like to thankyou again for your generosity and helping us to give the Moorings a very Christmassy surprise and of course the joy of seeing your wonderful children 🙂 🎁🎄
